Do you believe in Lazarus, rising from the dead?

Condensing a classic tale into a ninety minute-long drama, this award-winning adaptation brings all the richness of of Dostoyevsky’s masterpiece to the stage.

An elderly moneylender is dead, killed with an axe in her St Petersburg apartment; a destitute former student sits before a police inspector. The interrogation that follows is an intense psychological and philosophical exploration of the ideas and experiences that erupted into this crime.

An exploration of morality, insanity and redemption, Crime and Punishment takes a fascinating deep dive into the psychology of a criminal.
