Do you believe in Lazarus, rising from the dead?

Condensing a classic tale into a ninety minute-long drama, this award-winning adaptation brings all the richness of of Dostoyevsky’s masterpiece to the stage.

An elderly moneylender is dead, killed with an axe in her St Petersburg apartment; a destitute former student sits before a police inspector. The interrogation that follows is an intense psychological and philosophical exploration of the ideas and experiences that erupted into this crime.
